I am involved with the student senate serving as the secretary and work at the student ran and owned cafe, Paradox! This program was extremely helpful to me my freshman year and I hope it will provide the same welcoming, supportive, and fun enviornment for you all. Hi! My name is Audrey (She/Her), and I'm a junior majoring in quantitative economics with a minor in film and media studies. I'm involved with LSU (Latinx Student Union), KRRC, and this is my third year with PMP! I'm passionate about diversity and inclusion, especially within the Reed community. I have many medical & mental health issues which I have been able to overcome while also being part of the GRSM/LGBTQ, having learned to found resources to help with these issues while on a budget. Hello, I'm Irene, more popularly known as Ernie. I'm a senior Computer Science major and Economics minor! My other non-academic involvements include working at the Reed Research Reactor as an RO (Reactor Operator), layout editor for the Students of Color Union, and signator for Period Kollectiv. I'm often attending events hosted by Chinese House and identity groups! I enjoy crafts, strategy RPGs, making art, and hoarding memorabilia. I came to Reed as a low income student from the public school system, and stumbled terribly my freshman year. However, my resilience taught me how to navigate bureacracy at Reed, and make the most out of its jobs, financial programs, and networking opportunities, while building an incredible support system. I invest most of my time into organizing for Asian communities in Portland+Reed, and studying API politics/history.
